We evaluate workplace injuries on a walk-in basis, with x-ray on site
When someone gets hurt on the job, nobody wants a four-hour emergency room detour for a sprained ankle. FICOM evaluates work comp injuries on a walk-in basis every business day, we have x-ray on site, and we bill workers’ compensation directly. It is the one insurance we handle.
When to come in
We see work comp walk-ins Monday through Friday. You need to be checked in with all of your paperwork completed by 4:30 pm. The paperwork takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the injury and your medical history, so plan to arrive by 4:15 at the latest. For severe injuries or anything life-threatening, call 911 or go to the emergency room.
What your employer needs to send
We need written or emailed authorization from an approved individual at your company at the time of service. The fastest path is having your employer email it to ficom@faithoccmed.com before you arrive, or you can bring the documentation with you.
